INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION (I&C) CENTRE

Government of Odisha committed to deliver all services online in transparent and hassle-free manner and for Setting up of Inspection and Certification Centres (I&C Centres) under the 5T policy.

Model Inspection & Certification Centre has been established at Cuttack with joint initiative of Govt. of Odisha and MoRTH for automated testing and issuance of Fitness Certificates to vehicles in transparent manner to ensure its roadworthiness which will improve road safety and allied matters.

Benefits for Vehicle owners/ Drivers:

1. Inspection through I&C Centre shall be done in more transparent manner reducing manual intervention.
2. Applicant can book slots and come to the centre in the scheduled time, thus reducing the waiting period in large que.
3. The testing results shall be generated through VAHAN immediately after the test.
4. Amenities like parking facilities, waiting hall, training for drivers etc.  available at Inspection & Certification Centres for public convenience.

Steps are being taken for establishment of such centres across the state for the convenience of the vehicle owners.
