[I] HOW TO APPLY FOR POLLUTION TESTING CENTRE
ACTION AT APPLICANT’S END
Applying For New PTU
Step 1: Applicant will visit the site www.parivahan.gov.in for online application.
Step-2: Go To ONLINE SERVICES -> PUCC
Step-3: REGISTER NEW/OLD PUC CENTRE
Step-4: Fill up the online form
- In case of Existing PTC or Renewal of PTC, click on Existing PUC Centre checkbox.
- In case of New PTC, no need to click on Existing PUC Centre checkbox and pay the fees through online or counter payment.
Step-5: Submit the application and generate the PUC application Id. keep it for future reference.
Step-6: Upload documents
Step-7: Generate application slip
Step-8: contact the concerned RTO for further process and approval
Applying For Renewal of PTU
Step 1: Applicant will visit the site www.parivahan.gov.in for online application.
Step-2: Go To ONLINE SERVICES -> PUCC
Step-3: Log-in to at PUC Centre user with approved user id and password.
Step-4: Go to Renew PUC Centre and pay the fees through online or counter payment
Step-5: Upload documents
Step-6: contact the concerned RTO for further process and approval
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR POLLUTION TESTING CENTRES
[i] New Application:
- ID Proof
- Copy of the GST certificate showing GST No.
- Static Centre/ Mobile Centre

- Lease Agreement in case of Hire Basis with RoR of the owner of the land

- MV documents of the Mobile Van

- Calibration Certificate
- Invoice of Equipment
- Money receipt of Rs 2,000 per machine (Application fee)
- Money receipt of Rs 10,000 per machine (Security money)
[ii] Existing Authorization:
- ID Proof
- Copy of the GST certificate showing GST No.
- Authorization Certificate
- Annual Maintenance Contract
- Calibration Certificate
[iii] Renewal:
- Annual Maintenance Contract
- Calibration Certificate
- Application for renewal of an authorization made not less than thirty days before the date of its expiry fee is Rs. 2000 per machine
- Application made after the date specified above, fine of Rs. 1000 per machine.
ACTION AT RTO’ S END
Step-1: Physical Verification of the Pollution Testing Machines and the Site or Vehicle on which the PTC/PTU is applied for New/Renew.
Step-2: Ensure that All Relevant Documents are uploaded in the Online Application by the applicant.
Step-3: Put the Remarks of the Verifying Authority at the space provided at Verification Remark and Approve/Reject.
