Adherence to 5T charter is now the top priority of Government for which a separate department has been created.

          Achievement - State Transport Authority rolled out nine citizen centric services like Automated Hassle Free manner that is Vehicle Registration, Auto Approval of Goods and Contract Carriage Permits, Auto Approval of Inter State, Inter Region Special Permits for Buses, Online Application of International Driving Permit, Renewal of Registration and Transfer of Ownership in any RTO of the state, learners’ license through mobile APP. Auto approval renewal of Inter Region & Intra Region State Carriage permit .On line application in Vahan for renewal of fitness certificate, Implementation of BH series, in Odisha in which the application along with the specified fees and taxes shall be made in electronic form through portal on the website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways i.e. https://parivahan, Issuance of DL & RC through smart cards has been dispensed and are being issued electronically in the prescribed format. Provisions have been made to upload documents online in VAHAN and SARATHI. Out of 32 services covered under ORTPSA, 29 services are delivered online.
