Both STAs and RTAs, Regional D.C Offices, Office of Principal DTA Bhubaneswar, all use high end and updated IT provisions for timely and efficient management of Road Transport issues. Initiatives are taken to update the related software and hardwares from time to time. Infrastructural modernization is done for office buildings and conference halls. Almost all RTAs have their own state of the art office buildings. Automated Driving Training Tracks have been completed in 18 RTO offices and under construction in other 19 RTO offices.
There are modern and furnished halls in STAs and RTAs for training and meeting. Uninterrupted internet services are ensured by BSNL for interlinking of RTAs with STAs.
A heavy vehicle driving training institute at Chhatia is run in association with Ashok Leyland. There is a modern INC at Arilo, Cuttack. There are two proposed INCs at Berhampur and Rourkela.
